Remarks
The manuscript, a copy of Mir-Haydar Khwarazmi's Makhzan al-asrar, was finished in 1478 for the Aqqoyunlu ruler Ya'qub ibn Uzun Hasan (p. 26). Soucek's study indicates the manuscript was assembled from two rolls of Chinese gold-decorated paper, one painted on one side and the other on both sides (p. 26).
