Remarks
Sample F showed an unusual behavior where its crystallinity index increased during the initial stages of aging before finally decreasing after 28 days (Table 3). This is attributed to the initial degradation of amorphous regions of cellulose, which effectively increases the relative percentage of crystalline regions (Section 3.2, p. 651).
