Remarks
Madder (Rounas/Alizarin) was found in sample S1-1-R. Elemental analysis via SEM-EDX showed mostly Carbon and Oxygen, consistent with an organic lake (p. 119, Table 4). Figure 9 shows the FTIR spectrum confirming the organic structure (p. 118).
