"These spectra present profiles characteristic of emerald green pigment with bands located at 154, 175, 216, 244, 293, 324, 371, 432, 493, 539, 687, 760, 837, 950, 1350, 1441 and 1560 cm-1."
Remarks
Identified on MEK-MS-4 and MEK-MS-5. Although typically introduced to Europe in 1814, it has been identified on 16-17th century Persian manuscripts, and its presence here helps date the scribal schools (p. 119).
