Remarks

The manuscript (Cod.Or. 26.267) is a copy of an anonymous work (Kitāb-i Īmānīye) containing prescriptions for the magical use of pious formulae. The use of both red and green for rubrics is specifically noted (p. 228). The scribe, Yūsuf, completed the work in 1574 in the Ottoman province of Habeş.
