In the literature, for making white color it is said that white lead is dissolved in water and filtered, then it is discarded and mixed with Arabic gum (p. 13).

Remarks

In Iran white lead is known as 'Sheikh White Lead', which the name is probably attributable to 'Sheikh Bahaei' who produced this material in an Iranian way. It usually contains 70% lead and 3% lead hydrate (p. 13).
