Remarks

The author, al-Jabarti, records finding poetic verses written on 'madashata' (scattered, loose, or fragmentary) papers attributed to the handwriting of the scholar Muhammad al-Ghamri. The term 'madashata' (مدشتة) indicates the physical condition of the manuscripts as disordered or damaged at the time of discovery (p. 213).
