A colophon indicates a date of 550 AH (12th century), but the author notes that the hand is more consistent with a 7th century AH (13th century) date (p. 269). The manuscript was previously analyzed by Albert Dietrich in his 1966 publication 'Medicinalia Arabica' (p. 269).
