The Terengganu Quran (MSN32.1992) is characterized by its 'jewel-like radiance' (p. 9) and 'copious amounts of gold' (p. 9). The illumination specifically uses red, green, and yellow as primary colors (p. 11), with purple and blue colors also appearing in detailed frames (p. 12). Gold is applied in leaf or powder form, particularly for 'gold letters against the red and green coloured background' (p. 12) and as 'gold roundels... used as a separator for each verse' (p. 15).
