Remarks

Colors were employed for ornamental purposes, particularly on title pages and in the marginalia of Najdi manuscripts. These decorations often featured geometric or floral motifs and could be executed in a single color or multiple colors (p. 357). Title pages often utilized an inverted triangle layout or circular frames to house the text (p. 357).
