Remarks

This study analyzes the calligraphic inscriptions applied to the architectural structure of the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque (commonly known as the Blue Mosque) in Shah Alam, Malaysia (p. 8). The research focuses on Quranic verses presented on the exterior and interior surfaces, specifically highlighting the dome, Mihrab, and Minbar (p. 7-8). The calligraphy was executed by the Egyptian calligrapher Shaikh Abdul Munim Muhammad Ali al-Sharqawi (p. 9). A key objective is comparing the mathematical proportions of these letters to the system developed by Ibn Muqla (p. 7).
