Evidence

"It should be noted that the Timurid style painter of Shiraz in the Shāhnāma manuscript Ms 22-1948 has used the combination of red lead + orpiment as a brown colour that has not been used by any other painters in Shiraz or other cities."

Remarks

This unique combination was not observed in any other analyzed painters from Shiraz or other manuscript production centers (p. 232).
