Remarks

The paper substrate has suffered physical degradation (corrosion) specifically in areas where copper green was applied for robes and flags (p. 155). This is a well-documented chemical interaction between copper pigments and cellulosic fibers. Additionally, folio 273 and 148 show evidence of extensive destruction and subsequent repainting (p. 164).
