"In this project, indigo was observed mostly in combination with other colour materials to create green, purple, dark blue, and violet, in some cases in the Shāhnāma manuscripts AKM 6, Persian 9, Ms 22-1948, RAS 239, and Or 420 indigo was identified independently or mixed with white lead."
Remarks
Cannot be identified by XRF but is clearly recognizable in FORS due to delocalized molecular orbitals (p. 98). Maximum reflectance is at 450-500 nm (p. 99).
