Remarks

The manuscript of Nizami's Khamsa (Inv. No. 15089) at KFCRIS is possibly the Iskandarnama. It is written in four columns using the nasta’liq script, which was canonized in the 15th century (p. 95). The style of the accompanying paintings is highly reflective of the Muzzafarid style developed in Shiraz (p. 96).
