Manuscripts of Farīd al-Dīn ʿAṭṭār's 'Manṭiq al-Ṭayr' from the late 15th century in western Iran show a high degree of repetitiveness in illumination and painted motifs. This similarity indicates a standardized production process within closely related workshops under the Aq Qoyunlu Turkmen tribe. The study explores how these copying processes resulted in the consistent visual program observed in manuscripts from this period (p. 4).
