Remarks
Gold is used for the text of 'Allāh' throughout the Qur'an, as well as for verse markers (gold rosettes), hexagonal medallions for juz', and blue-bordered rectangles for half-juz' (p. 75). In the Masnavī, gold is used for the waqf note (p. 76) and for writing the prose prefaces in a script between tawqi' and naskh (p. 81).
