Acad. 35 contains an unusual 'cream to pale yellow and dark green glazed paper' which exhibits moisture stains (p. 147). Acad. 38 uses a 'white to cream glazed paper' (p. 148, 149). Several manuscripts feature covers or boards covered in 'varicoloured marbled paper', including Acad. 22 (p. 143), Acad. 27 (p. 144), Acad. 42 (p. 151), and Acad. 45 (p. 153). Acad. 38 also notes a part (pp. 114-135) written on 'different paper' from the rest of the volume (p. 148).
