Preparation Steps
Take as much mica as you wish. Cut it with scissors until it is like mustard seeds. Put it in a thin cloth and rub it until it becomes fine. Beat it with another thin cloth. Then take one part of it and one part of red arsenic that has been finely ground. Mix them with vigorous grinding. Then knead them both with Arabic gum water that has been well-refined. After this, dry it on [a piece of cloth and its seed], i.e., as much as you wish, and elevate it. If you want to write with it, take one grain or more of it. Dissolve it in a shell with gum water and write with it. If you want it gilded, add yellow arsenic to the red arsenic; its color will be a yellow gold like gold.
