Take yellow myrobalan, crush it with its seeds, and place it in a thin bottle after measuring it. Pour twice its volume of water over it and leave it in the hot sun for four days. Then clarify it and add some Gum Arabic to it and leave it in the sun until it dissolves. Then add a little yellow vitriol and some ground green vitriol to it. Shake it well and write with it.
