Another Ink [Glass]

Recipe Details

Ingredients

glass, Gum Arabic, vinegar

Preparation Steps

Take some glass, grind it finely, and wash it with water until it becomes like dough. Then wash it until its blackness disappears and the glass is purified. Place it in a narrow-necked bottle and add some Gum Arabic and vinegar to it. Hang it in the sun for seven days in the heat of summer, or more if it is not summer. Shake it every day. Whenever the vinegar dries, add more. If you wish to write with it, move the glass and write with a copper pen. Keep the vessel away from dust.
