Remarks

The manuscript Pm II 30 contains Islamic paper with chain lines grouped in threes, which is a characteristic feature of paper produced in Egypt and the Mediterranean Middle East (p. 109). The author notes that later manuscripts in the corpus (eighteenth century) frequently transition to European paper, which lacks these traditional Islamic chain line characteristics (p. 110-111).
