Remarks

In manuscript Acad. 182 (Subḥatu l-aḫbār), pigments are used to illustrate a historical pedigree. Personalities ranging from Adam to Sultan Murād III are depicted within circles colored with various pigments. (p. 202) The catalog notes the use of red lines to connect these circles, which transition to black lines at the end of the pedigree. (p. 202) On page 203, the catalog further specifies that the manuscript features 'varicoloured and, often, multiple circles in red and varying shades of yellow'.
